These are the concerts I’m looking forward to in 2018:
Banda Magda and Snarky Puppy:
Snarky Puppy is a Jazz Fusion band. Banda Magda has a latin jazz flare, if you’re into brazillian music you’ll like them. They also have some french music too. This concert is Feb 26th at the Belly Up Tavern at Solana Beach.
You might know her from Somebody that You Used to Know by Gotye. Her first album was Vows which was Jazz pop. She’s kind of turned into a Techno R&B rapper though. One of her songs definitely has a Imogen Heap influence. This concert is Feb 15th at The Observatory OC in Santa Ana or you can catch her in May at the Belly Up in Solana Beach.
You know her from The Voice and Curly Sue. Only problem is she’s playing the same day as Kimbra. She’s playing at Martini’s on Fourth in Downtown San Diego.
They’re going to be play at The Casbah. If you love Shonen Knife, you’ll love this band!
I the Victor:
She kind of sounds like Ellie Goulding. She’s playing at Soda Bar Feb 28 in Normal Heights. Which is basically North Park.
He’s a big R&B artist in South Korea. I hope I win tickets to see him. Regardless, I’m going to see him in Downtown LA at The Novo March 25th.
I’ll probably edit this as new bands come that I like.
Don’t forget to subscribe to my Youtube. You’ll get to watch some of the bands. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCerJAUj1a4GnRmWs06gqepg
